Her mom Susan shares how Addy and parenting has changed over the years. HVP: What has changed the most since 2015? Susan: Social media has taken over. There seems to be no boundaries when it comes to Facebook, SnapChat, etc. It is okay to post a few things, but your life history should not be put out there. Parents need to have that conversation with their children. HVP: What is one piece of advice you have for other parents raising teens today? S: Raising five children was not easy but one thing we always did was had dinner each night without the interruption of TV or phones. The children sat the whole time at the table until everyone was finished. A conversation every night with your children keeps you in the loop. HVP: Tell us about Addy! S: She is in 8th grade now and plays on the varsity golf team.
