Celebrating
His parents Julie Ann and James say: "Deskin is a
happy kid who always has a smile on his face and a
fighter spirit. He never gives up. We hope that Deskin
always stays as happy and positive as he is now. We
hope people will be able to see Deskin for all that he
has overcome, and all that he is, instead of for the
things he cannot do."
I
n March, Hudson Valley Parent was proud to team up with Abilities First to present
the second annual "My Abilities are Super" Cover Kid Search. We had tons of entries
and got to meet amazing children of all abilities.
This month's cover kid and the rest of these amazing boys were chosen by their
families, friends and the Hudson Valley Parent audience.
Meet some incredible kids and help us celebrate them!
His mom Angel says:
