HVP: What makes Charlie such an
incredible kid?
Aaron-Noel: He is a loving, kind little
boy who will walk up to you and say:
"Hi my name is Charlie. Would you
like to play?"
HVP: How does Charlie engage with
his environment?
Aaron-Noel: Charlie has a sensory
processing disorder with his autism.
Usually that appears as avoidance; a
materials-aversion. But he's a sensory
seeker. He's always coming up and
hugging people.
HVP: What interests Charlie?
Aaron-Noel: He loves anything Dis-
ney. He's a Disney fanatic. We've been
to Disney Land many, many times. It's
like a second home. They accommo-
date autistic children.
