With the onset of social distancing and other chal- lenges of COVID-19, finding balance can seem more elusive than ever. Yet managing what can feel like a large scope of es- sential priorities for each family member while coping with unexpected stresses might be a little easier when work, homeschooling and household concerns are bal- anced with lighter moments. This issue looks at having fun with your kids with family craft nights, where everyone does creative proj- ects together, like making something new from what's on hand in different, inventive ways. Maintaining balance isn't always possible, but it's been my experience that taking small steps to steady off-kilter periods helps reduce stress and increase enjoyment. And that's good.
