Willow found a plant with a brown pod.
She squeezed the brown pod into
Robin's hand. The dark, long narrow seeds
fell through cracks in the pod on
to his palm.
Robin then picked a pod of his own. He
saw four chambers in the pod and noticed
that each chamber held a few seeds.
"When you brush against a pod, they can
break open. The same thing happens when
deer and other animals pass by,"
Willow explained.

These pods have turned brown. They are
now ripe and will release their seeds.
