The iconic song "Alice's Restaurant" by Arlo Guthrie was turned into the popular 1969 film of them same name. Arlo visits his friend Alice for Thanksgiving dinner and offers to take her trash to the dump. He finds the facility closed and throws the trash into a nearby ravine. The local sheriff, determined to find the culprit, begins a manhunt that eventually lands Arlo in court. This one act ends up haunting him wherever he goes. 7pm. Join us for a celebration of childhood as we forget about the stresses of everyday life and take some time out to let loose and get messy. The first annual Muddy Puddles "Mess Fest" honors Ty Louis Campbell, a young local boy who lost his battle with brain cancer last year at the age of five. In remembrance of Ty we devote this day to letting out our inner child as we laugh, play and get messy! The event will include carnival games, zip lines, splatter paint, pie tosses, hay rides, music, food fights, muddy puddle jumping and much more. 11am-3pm.
