adoption of the Common
Core Standards will change the way
your child learns. Is the Common Core
Standard just another gimmick that
throws parents off balance or is it a
really break-through method that
impresses you? Parent's question
whether it has been adopted to
improve how their kids learn or
whether it is just another way to try
and measure a teacher's capability?
We are not really sure what the new
test scores revealed but all we know is
that all our kid's scores were lower
than the standards New York State
created. What do the lower scores
reveal? It surely doesn't mean that our
kids are poor learners. It probably
means that the initial tests were
created using inappropriate standards.
