Are you able to brush it off or do you engage them? Here's what they had to say: "I used to engage until I realized it's a no-win situation. I am going to do the best I can for my own children. No one else can tell me what that is. I wasn't able to breastfeed my twins and I felt like I was the worst mother ever. My babies had nary a sniffle their first year of life, while many of their breastfed friends were sick more often. Not that it made me feel better, but debunked the whole 'my kids are healthier than yours' theory, and I felt less and less like I had set them on a bad path from Day One. No one should make anyone else feel like their job as a mom isn't valuable." — Roxanne Ferber, Saugerties "A lot of moms are way too judgy. I think it's important to remember that everyone is different and have different values and ideas about their family and their parenting methods. As long as someone's parenting style isn't overtly neglectful, abusive or dangerous, the best course of action is probably to mind your own business. I don't agree with all my friend's parenting methods, but I respect them because I know their best intentions are behind it." — Lauren Dean, Poughkeepsie
