He came just days before Christmas. Weston is truly a bless- ing. It's amazing how babies can quickly change your life. He is the cutest baby I've ever seen, but maybe I'm a bit biased. Meghan was so worried before she gave birth. She constantly asked herself, "Will I be a good parent?" It seems every soon-to-be mom struggles with that question, but it always works out. Meghan is a great mother and is constantly giving Weston all the love and affection he can stand! I am so very proud to call her my cousin and best friend! The poop on diapers Check out editorial assistant, Laura's article in this season's baby guide to get the scoop on poop! She has spoken with local moms and diaper experts to get their opinions on cloth diapers. Are cloth diapers really better for the environment? Are cloth diapers a hassle? Read her article to find out! Lets adopt! Getting pregnant can be difficult, which is why after two failed in vitro fertilization attempts, Christine Nadeau and husband, Stephen, decided to adopt their two beautiful sons. It's been five years since the adoption, but Christine remembers the stress and piles of paperwork like it was yesterday. Turn to page 12 to read her story and for adoption resources right here in the Hudson Valley. Word games Here at Hudson Valley Parent we love to play word games with our readers on Facebook. We recently challenged our readers to describe motherhood in just five words! Tough job we know, but our readers definitely came through! Check out what they had to say on page 20. Freebies What new mom doesn't love free stuff? We've searched high and low for the best and newest products for new moms, new dads and babies!
