READER FEEDBACK
What was the rst moment
you really felt a special
connection with your child?
I think the fi rst time I felt that spe-
cial connection was when I heard their
heartbeats during ultrasounds, that is
a sound I will never, ever forget; that
most beautiful sound in the world!
— Michele Spalding
For me personally, I felt such a
special connection with both my
girls the fi rst time I held them. I
knew that love and bond was so
precious and there would never be
another feeling like it. To this day
I love to squeeze their cheeks, give
them a big hug and kiss (which at
ages 12 & 19 isn't so cool).
— Lori Gri ths-Starr
