By COLLEEN THORNTON T he Hudson Valley has a bevy of local farms right at our finger- tips. Many families support their neighborhood farms by buying fruits and veggies from local farmers instead of picking up produce that may come from other areas at the grocery store. As a result, farmers markets continue to grow in popu- larity, as do community supported agriculture - or CSA - programs. Interested in buying farm fresh seasonal products in bulk for the du- ration of the growing season? These programs allow members to do just that - and build unique relation- ships with farmers. The specific of- ferings vary a bit, but locally grown fresh food is one thing they all have in common. If you're looking to get involved with a CSA this year, here's some of what our area has to offer: Great Song Farm 475 Milan Hill Rd.
