Join us for the seasonal Artisan Fair and support our wonderful group of local craftspeople and their handmade goods! 10am-2pm. Hudson Valley KidVenture. Hudson Valley KidVenture is an expo-style event, which highlights businesses and nonprofits while offer- ing children ages 3-12 interactive and educational activities. KidVenture is an interactive and educational event featuring activities, live performances, demonstrations, technology exhibits, career exploration experiences, and so much more – all included in the price of admission! 11am-4pm. The Bright Ideas Festival invites families from across the Hudson Valley to explore robotics and drones, interactive games, Lego building, 3D printing and much more. 11-5pm. Attendees will be able to sample creations from some of the finest restaurants and chefs in the Hudson Valley. This is a family-friendly event and kids 12 and under are free. Join us for this three-mile loop to view magnificent Lake Maratanza! On our way to the lake we will stop at the Sam's Point Overlook where on a clear day there is a great view of the Wallkill Valley, the Catskills, and much more. Pack a lunch and we will sit on the shore to enjoy a mid-day picnic. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Pre- registration is recommended. 11am-1pm. Geared towards children with special needs. This program will feature simple stories, flannel boards, songs and appropriate movement activities that gently appeal to the senses, with reduced outside stimuli. A social time will follow with special sensory toys to encourage small and large motor skills. 3:30-4:15pm.
