Come in for an indoor camp out celebrating the birthday of Gertrude Chandler Warner, author of The Boxcar Children. Enjoy activities, crafts and snacks for in honor of this story (with its many sequels and spin-offs), which has been delighting children for 95 years. 6:30- 7:30pm. Fun interactive story time includes books, rhymes and songs for children ages 18-36 months with a parent/caregiver. Creative play with educational toys concludes the program. Relax, enjoy and smell the roses (or in this case the baked goods) at our spring tea. Our menu includes delicious, dainty sandwiches, homemade desserts and an assortment of Harney & Sons teas – all served on tables set with fine linens, porcelain cups, saucers and tea pots. April Poetry Month Celebration. Join us for a reading of poetry by the leader of our Hudson River Poets group, Hayden Wayne.
