Valley Parent which she founded
in 1994.
She is the editor and publisher of a two-book series called
The Undercover Kids.
She is maried to artist and poet Clayton Buchanan. They
live in the city of Newburgh, NY.

Violet Snow is a naturalist and
writer whose column "Natural
Wonders" appeared regularly
in the Phoenicia Times and the
Olive Press for seven years.
She taught classes in plant
identification and wild edibles, and she has led nature
walks. She lives in Phoenicia in the Catskill Moutains.

Designer
Leslie has been a designer in the
Hudson Valley for the past 23
years. She lives in Newburgh and
has four kids and three grandkids.
MADISON CAHILL
Illustrator
Madison Maureen Cahill, a
Poughkeepsie native, has
illustrated a book called Clyde
the Clever Wrote a Letter, about
healthy friendships, young love,
courage and perseverance.
Madison is an accomplished artist with autism who has
defied hurdles and boundaries. At her current age of 18,
she has already been featured in multiple galleries and
publications, coast-to-coast.
