This month's issue also features some great staycation ideas, including tips on spending a day at the Walkway over the Hudson, the world's longest elevated pedestrian bridge. It's June in the Hudson Valley, which means the berries are ripe for the picking! The age of Lyme Living in the Hudson Valley in the summertime also means dealing with that dreaded pest: the tick. We've all seen them, and many of us have had to pull them off our- selves and our children. It can be a scary experience, so we consulted local experts on the best ways to protect your family from ticks this year, and what to do if you suspect you or your child has a tick borne illness.
