Photo by Michael Bloom HV PARENT READER FEEDBACK How do you protect your kids from the risks of social media? I've got everybody's passwords, access to systems and [there is] no privacy...the kids keep an eye on what their siblings are doing. If a teenager tells the little ones they're doing something inappropriate, their experience is supposed to be respect - ed and the activity stopped. — Sandra Mort I have everyone's passwords. I am friends with every account. And I check their phones. They can try to delete, but I can just check on Veri - zon Family Base and pull up every- thing they text. — Barbara Marshall My tween daughter is on social media. She goes on Instagram, Snapchat and musicl.ly. I check her phone every single night to see what she posts/watches on Instagram, etc. and I keep track of every text she sends to friends. She's very respon - sible. She loves her phone...and she knows she will lose her phone the moment I see inappropriate stuff. — Anja Taekker My 13 year old... is on Instagram only. I take his phone and look. [It's] that simple - I pay for the phone, it's mine to look at whenever I want. He must hand it over immediately! When he was on Facebook, I had ac - count access and we were "friends," but I'm not on Instagram. — Erica Nemeth
