We sing our welcome song, hear a story, play with other children our age (grown-ups also get to socialize), do a craft, have snack and sing our goodbye song. Registration required. 10-11am. Hurley Nursery School. 13 Main St., Hurley. 339-1036. 28: Wednesday Mommy and Me Class. Our Mommy and Me class is designed for children 18-36 months and their caregivers. The class will include singing, story-time, a sensory based activity, snack and a craft! Mommy and Me is a wonderful first introduction to a school setting and socialization. For children in grades K-2. Bring a pillow, relax and listen! We'll read a chapter book to you over a series of weeks and celebrate the end with a cool project or activity. The program is designed to engage your children with short stories, finger plays, action rhymes and songs, as well has help improve motor, sensory and social skills with play time. How do they protect themselves from predators? Learn about the native Eastern Cot- tontail and then take a walk to search for signs of wild rabbits.
