Children are naturally compassionate and empathetic towards animals. At Camp Kindness, we nurture these feelings while teaching campers how to care for 340 rescued farmed animals that reside on 148 acres at Catskill Animal Sanctuary in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Your children will visit our fabulous rescued residents, pamper horses, make popsicles for pigs, create animal-friendly crafts and more. They'll learn to love and care for the animals by working in the barns, cleaning, grooming and making beds. Yummy vegan snacks and lunches are provided at no additional charge - No packing lunches! Parents are invited to participate in a vegan cooking class too! Each day at Camp Kindness is an empowering, memorable and fun way to connect with and learn about these precious animals.
