Local parents Mom Je'Anetta says: My daughter is a member of Salvation Army in Poughkeepsie and enjoys helping Senior Citizens at the nursing homes. Out of everyone in the household Jazmine knows how to help the adults with their cell phones and computers. She sometimes helps her grandmother in the garden in the back and has fun collecting the vegetables. Usually when we go to the mall or a store that has push/pull doors she holds them open for the next person. She enjoys helping and talking to others and making new friends along the way. Jazmine likes to make her own money so she collects bottles and cans to keep make money in her pocket. Pretty much a pretty friendly and hardworking kid. T here's no denying it… The Hudson Valley is chock-full of Incredible Kids and parents just waiting for the opportunity to brag about them! We asked parents to tell us how their kids save the world for a chance to be featured in this issue and the opportunity to be on a 2018 cover of Hudson Valley Parent. Our staff was overwhelmed with all the great submissions. We read stories about kids who love to give back to their community, spend their time volunteering and care about the environment and want to save it! Choosing our three finalists was not easy. Alas, after much deliberation, Hudson Valley Parent is proud to announce our fourth group of Incredible Kids! We'd also like to extend a hearty thank you to our Incredible Kids sponsor, Children's Medical Group. Finalist: Jazmine, 9 of Poughkeepsie 28 Hudson Valley Parent n July 2018
