H ere at Hudson Valley Parent, we have spent the last few months cooking up something super exciting and now it is time for the big reveal. This month, we have teamed up with the Poughkeepsie Galleria to take over the mall for the first ever Kids' Trail for Art, Science & Sports on September 22 from 11am-4pm. We know that parents are constantly worried about providing their children with enriching, unforgettable experiences. Well moms, put that worry aside this month and bring your tweens and teens to the Poughkeepsie Galleria for the most anticipated STEAM event of 2018. The 2018 Kids' Trail brings the best STEAM providers, educators and vendors in the Hudson Valley all to one place. This special day for children and parents is all about creating a learning experience that you will never forget. We have taken demonstrations to the next level by including hands-on elements from every single vendor. Every mother's least favorite phrase to hear from their kids is "I'm bored!" We guarantee a boredom free day! With vendors like HV Center for Neurofeedback, LeClerc's Martial Arts, NY Academy of Ballet and more, your tween won't know where to start at this jam packed event. Performances will round out the day at specific areas throughout the galleria. Children's Community Theater, Drone Tech USA, Frost Valley YMCA and Kids Yoga Spot share even more of their skills and talents at special performances during the day. It is so important to us (because we know how important it is to you) that your kids have experiences where they can learn, play and interact in a safe environment. Up-close and personal experiences with educators and STEAM providers could spark an interest in your children that they never knew they had. By empowering today's youth to make informed choices, we are building the next generation of leaders. The future is STEAM and we want to help your kids get an incredible, hands-on experience with the STEAM providers in our area. The 2018 Kids' Trail for Art, Science & Sports is an event you won't want to miss. I can't wait to see you there! Calling all parents of tweens and teens: Kids' Trail is for you!
