Cueing in on color
Color trends come and go
but unless you love the color-
of-the moment, decorator
Claudia Jacobs says to skip
the cost and commitment of
painting the palette on your
walls. Instead, stay stylish and
on-budget with decor items
finished in trending colors.
Accent pillows and painted
furniture, for instance, are
great ways to introduce color
into a room. Navy blue could
make a welcoming front-door
color and florals can add a
touch of pink. For a neutral
base, grey is great for resale
and plays well with other
accent dcor colors. Creams,
soft whites and taupes are also
livable options that can be regu-
larly refreshed with accessories.
