Seeds spread on fluffy
milkweed parachutes
"Oh, look! Milkweed!" Robin ran
over to a stand of plants that had
white fluff attached to the curved,
grayish-brown pods. He broke off
an open pod and waved it in the air.
Although the faintest of breezes was
stirring, the air took the fluff sailing
across the lawn.
Milkweed seeds are brown and leathery.
