When kids play in a league they learn more than just individ- ual skills. They learn how to win and how to lose with the right attitude. They will also build charac- ter and self-confidence. Exercise. It's not easy getting your kids to join you during a yoga session or to run a mile on the treadmill, but your kids will practically beg you to go bowling. What they don't realize is that throwing a heavy ball repeatedly requires strength and endurance, and they will burn a lot of calories. Team Work.
