St. Baldrick's Day. Come join us as we come together to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. In 2017, we raised $108,328 and had 200 shavees. Can we beat that? Yes, we can! This family-friendly day includes a raffle, a bake sale, chair massages, face painting for kids, dance performances and a DJ. Funds raised during the event will go directly to research for a cure for cancer and to help children beyond remission. 11am-4pm. Lapsit includes books, music, simple action rhymes, and developmentally appropriate toys, as well as tips on how to create a bright start for future learning. 9:30-10am. Fun interactive story time in- cludes books, rhymes and songs for children ages 18-36 months with a parent/caregiver. Creative Sta Picks Dr. Seuss's Birthday Breakfast. March 2. Come celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday with us! There will be a full breakfast with green eggs, pancakes, sausage and hash browns. We will have a face painter, Dr. Seuss themed crafts and read some Dr. Seuss stories. This will be complete with guest appearances from popular Dr. Seuss characters as well. 9am. This is a day that brings together resources and unique services and products that meet the everyday needs and interests of families, individuals or caregivers for those with any disability. More than 30 vendors providing support for individuals with disabilities and special needs will be in attendance. There will be sensory activities, special performances, demonstrations and more! This family-friendly afternoon will host local restaurants serving up tasting portions of their prize chili recipes and other specialties such as cheeses, salsa and desserts. Two seasons intersect on this special day when frogs will be singing while winter is still holding onto the air and earth. The March full moon is often called the Sap Moon by Native Americans. This special, free event will include maple sugaring demonstrations, historical characters, a nature discovery room and planetarium, a live animal show, local crafts and food market and annual maple syrup judging contest. 10am-4pm.
