INCREDIBLE PARENTS RAISE
Meet this month's cover
kid, Jazmine, 11, and
her mom Je'Anetta
from Poughkeepsie
HVP: What are some struggles you
have had to overcome as a parent?
Je'Anetta: My biggest struggle was
knowing that my child was being
bullied. We moved so that she would
have a chance to make new friends
and have a new life.
HVP: Jazmine was featured in our
magazine for saving the world. How
will you continue to encourage that
spirit as she grows up?
J: I will remind my daughter to keep her
head up regardless of what happens. She
can save the world one kid at a time by
helping others who were bullied.
HVP: What makes Jazmine incredible?
J: She is one-of-a-kind, warm-hearted
and loving. She is incredible for
defending herself and has a bright
future ahead of her.
HVP: Tell us more about Jazmine!
J: She loves to sing, dance and listen to
music. She enjoys video games and likes
to explore and have fun with friends.
