Morgan 1 box white cake mix 1 can pure pumpkin puree 1 cup water 3/4 tsp. pumpkin spice 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 bag Candy Corn About 30 chocolate covered almonds 1 tube of red icing About 30 lollipop sticks Mix together cake mix, pump- kin, water, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon. Pour into glass pan and spread evenly, then bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let the cake cool completely; It should still be a little gooey so that they easily roll into balls. Once cooled, roll into small balls and place on parchment lined plate or tray. Put cake balls on lollipop sticks and freeze for 30 minutes. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and coat the cake balls. Attach candy corn on one side of the cake ball about 4-5 in a semi-circle. Attach a chocolate covered almond to the other side of the cake ball. Cut the tip off of about 30 candy corns. TopLists.HVParent.com RECIPES (Continued from Page 29) Orange Butter Cookies By Leslie Cortes 1 tbsp. grated orange rind 1 cup butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cup sugar 1 large egg 1/4 cup fresh orange juice 2 cups all-purpose flour Blend orange rind with softened butter. Mix in salt and sugar. Beat in egg and orange juice. Stir in flour. Mix well. Chill dough, then shape into 1" balls and place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Makes about 4 dozen cookies. Once cool, make the icing... Orange Butter Icing By Leslie Cortes 2-1/2 tbsp. butter 1-1/2 cup sifter confectioners' sugar 1-1/2 tbsp. orange juice 2 tbsp. grated orange rind Blend butter and sugar. Stir in orange juice and grated orange rind. Makes icing for 4 dozen cookies.
