2018 Children's Programs Offered:
Illustration Workshop:
Artists of all ages can learn the craft of designing a picture book from gifted
illustrator Steven James Petruccio. Please register by emailing
info@millbrookliteraryfesitival.org or sign up in person at Millbrook Library.
Supplies will be provided. 10-10:45am
Masterful Michael Garland:
Author/illustrator Michael Garland will share his array of
colorful picture books. 11:30am-12pm
Music and More With Marian Grudko:
Lucinda Snowdrop, a musical tale by author and composer
Marian Grudko will be performed for ages 4 through adult. 12:30-1pm
Picture Book Quartet:
Authors Karen Kaufman Orloff, Susanna Leonard Hill, Iza Trapani and
Nancy Furstinger will read their newest picture books. 1:30-2:30pm
It Was a Dark and Stormy Night...
Actor and storyteller David Nielsen will provide (age appropriate) chills
and thrills as he crafts a masterful tale of suspense. 2:30-3pm
Visit with Bee Bee the Clown all day under the
Book Tent on the library lawn!
