Be sure to wear your red, white and blue and join in the fun! An overnight reservation is required to join in the 4th of July activities. Times vary. The North East Community Center will be serving free lunches to children at the NorthEast Millerton Library on weekdays. Many of the ingredients, including milk and fresh vegetables, are being purchased from local farms or harvested from the Webutuck School Garden or NECC Community Garden. Any child up to age 18 can come to one of the programs for free lunch regardless of where you live. All meals MUST be eaten at the library. 11:30am-12:30pm. Visitors to the Persen House are invited to try their hand at many entertaining and historic games. Step behind our "Colonial Kids" portraits to see what you might have looked like in colonial dress. The Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival hosts balloonists and vendors from all over the country. This festival is a full weekend of activities including the evening Majestic Hot-Air Balloon Illumination Moon Glow, tether rides, and rides in the hot-air balloons throughout the weekend. In addition to 100 balloon launches scheduled annually, we o er helicopter rides, hayrides, games, live music, adult and children's activities and so much more. Advance online tickets are $10 per person. Tickets at the gate are $14 per person. Kids under 3 are free. No admission fee during the morning events.
